The next best combination after fish and chips is probably Bollywood and battlefield. While useless action movies have never been hits (unless tried by Salman Khan), with patriotism, Bollywood has almost every time made a mark:….
1). Haqeeqat (1964)
A platoon of soldiers, fighting the Sino-Indian war of 1962, are presumed dead in the hilly terrains of Ladakh. They are however rescued by the Ladakhi tribes and Captain Bahadur Singh.
This movie is also famous for its songs such as “Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo”.
2). Vijeta (1982)
Confused and caught in between his parents’ marital problems, Angad chooses to become a fighter pilot for the Indian Air Force.
3). Param Vir Chakra (1995)
Param Vir Chakra is a 1995 Bollywood war action film directed and written by Ashok Kaul. It stars Saeed Jaffrey, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Hema Malini.
4). Saat Hindustani
Maria, a satyagrahi, along with six men from different religious and geographical backgrounds struggles to liberate Goa from the Portuguese.
5). Aakraman (1975)
This film portrays the love angle between two army officers who fall in love with the same woman but when the indo-pak war breaks out, all hell breaks loose and the junior officer vows to take revenge with the other officer who has stolen his sweetheart by proposing her for marriage
.Besides this romantic drama the film also showcases the emotional remembrance of a father for his KIA son who dies in the previous war i.e. 1965 indo pak-war and highlights the bravery and courage of Indian soldiers and airmen during the last days of the present 1971 war when India defeats Pakistan and with this east Pakistan is finished and Bangladesh is created.

8). Hindustan Ki Kasam (1973)
Hindustan Ki Kasam is a 1973 war movie based on Operation Cactus Lilly in the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War.
9). Prahaar: The Final Attack
Major Chauhan, a highly trained officer in the Indian Army, diligently serves his country on the battlefield. He decides to take a stand against the corruption rampant in the country.
Our Ex-Army chief Gen V.K singh also has a role in this film.
10) . 1971
A band of six Indian prisoners of the 1971 war try to make the most daring escape from a Pakistani camp to the Indian border, with the Pakistani officials in hot pursuit.
